Are you ready to add some color to your yard? Well, get your wagon ready and make space in your vehicle as a springtime tradition since 1967 at Eastern Market is back! The 52nd annual Flower Day is returning this Sunday, May 19, from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 2934 Russell St.
Roses, tulips, flower pots, perennials or even shrubbery: No matter what kind of flowers you’re looking for, Eastern Market’s Flower Day is sure to have it all as growers from Ontario and neighboring states will provide over 15 acres of pure variety.
Keep an eye out for free and convenient parcel pickups: stations where you can drop off your selections, pay for them, then continue to explore the market without having your wagon full. And when you’re ready to go, you can easily pull up your vehicle and load your already purchased flowers.
Don’t let parking scare you away from the event. Parking is free throughout Eastern Market, including the Eastern Market Parking Garage. You may have to hunt a little for a good spot, but keep in mind that people will be coming and going all day leaving spaces available.
Here are some tips to enhance your experience at Flower Day:
- Arrive early
