The Detroit Boat Club Crew invites you to “Raise your glass to Belle Isle’s iconic ‘Boat Club’” at the Boat House Beer Fest on Saturday, September 28.
Part restoration fundraiser and part celebration of a historic Detroit gem, the Boat House Beer Fest allows patrons to sample up to 20 different beers while they explore the grounds of the Belle Isle Boat House. Proceeds from the festival will benefit efforts to restore the iconic building, now used for rowing and training as well as events like weddings, benefits, holiday activities and festivals.
While guests sip on brews from around the country, they’re welcome to walk along the expansive lawn and garden area and explore the boat house’s interior. There you can find a ballroom, dance hall, dining rooms and balconies that overlook the Detroit River. There will also be live acoustic music performed under the famous band shell outside.
The festival starts at 3 p.m. and lasts until 7 p.m.
