Summer Evenings at New Center Park
This summer, New Center Park, Midtown Detroit Inc.’s unique green space, offers free movies and live entertainment the whole family can enjoy from June through August. Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings are offered to the public free of charge (although there is the occasional ticketed event on those nights). You can enjoy a lovely evening out in the unique green space located on the southwest corner of Second Avenue and West Grand Boulevard across from the Fisher Building. New Center Park offers a licensed bar and grill at the park’s concession stand.
Wednesday evenings at the park offer an enjoyable screening of outdoor movies. Thursday night’s music series presents a variety of genres and live outdoor performances. Dust off your dancing shoes and join other guests in thrilling Saturday night dance parties with live music performances.
